Unite-Against-Climate-Failure was launched in October 2022 by climate action groups Scientist Rebellion, Last Generation, Debt for Climate and End Fossil Occupy.
We continue to act because behind headline grabbing promises and pledges, governments and polluting industries are still – after decades of warnings – not taking the findings of climate science seriously.
In parallel, we jointly recognise that protests alone will not change this. And we understand our tactics can sometimes get in the way of our message. In response, we have created this invitation for the general public to express themselves from both inside and outside Germany. This is where true power resides.
How many voices will it take before the German government admits #ClimateFailure? We do not know. But do accept our invitation. Your voice might end up being the tipping point that marks the shift into emergency mode. Not just in Germany – but across the world.
